I’m going a little bit out of order here, but this was one of those drawings that fell out of my hand onto the paper and I fell so in love with i just couldn’t stop working on it.My favorite Saturday morning cartoon growing up was the 90’s X-Men animated series. And like many other little boys, i idolized Gambit. And even though my tastes have changed and my favorite characters have changed, I will always have a particular fondness to Gambit. So when the picture on the calendar was of this girl playing with a playing card, i knew i had to draw a female Gambit.A first for my DaDs, I attempted to use some of the techniques I picked up in my life drawing class for shading, using a tiny little blending tool that Jeff gave me to smooth out the shades. It had a tremendous effect, and you bet your ass I’ll be coloring this soon.

About:

Princesses, Superheroes, Villains and Pinups... the inspiration to everything I draw.

I've been drawing since I was little, but only recently did I actually start liking what I draw. I've been teaching myself to get better at drawing for the past few years, so I decided I'd make a blog dedicated to that progress.
